Decision to allow Olympic boxers who failed gender test to compete causes outrage – Toronto Sun
GN notes: “Khelif and Lin failed to meet gender eligibility tests at last year’s women’s world boxing championships in New Delhi, prompting the International Boxing Association to disqualify them.” Regardless, the woke International Olympic Committee cleared them to fight against women. Long fought for equality between men and women reached absurdity in a strange way.

Ford right to want accountability from Ontario’s judges – Toronto Sun
GN notes: The 2019 Bill C-75 was a response to the Supreme Court of Canada decisions in R. v. Jordan (2016) and R. v. Cody (2017) demanding broad changes to the bail system, something the Liberal Government obliged over-generously. This is a new form of dictatorship, where people have the illusion of power through elections, but unelected courts will invalid laws or demand new ones, in this case without regards to the safety of the public. Ford’s tough talk will not change this systemic problem since judges have immunity.

Universities in Atlantic Canada worried about big drop expected in foreign students – The Canadian Press
GN notes: Universities love foreign students as they are a great source of income, permitting university professors to earn up to 300K per year with paid sabbatical every 6 years or so. Unfortunately, this business model works on the backs of ordinary Canadians. One million foreign students (2023 statistics) create housing shortages across the country, many of them are fed through food banks and they take summers’ job away from Canadians.

GN notes: “Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi, 62, and Mostafa Eldidi, 26, face a total of nine charges; including conspiracy to commit murder for the benefit or at the direction of a terrorist group — namely the Islamic State, a Sunni Muslim militant group.” Minister of Immigration Marc Miller is a great fan of diversity and keeps giving asylum and Canadian citizenship to Muslim Jew-Haters and terrorists.

Trudeau’s electric car mandate breaks the bank – Toronto Sun
GN notes: “The Trudeau government is banning the sale of new gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles by 2035. This plan is a non-starter for two key reasons: The EV mandate will likely cost a shocking amount of money for taxpayers and Canada doesn’t have the electricity to power these vehicles.”

Canadian civil liberties group fighting ‘abuse’ of notwithstanding clause in Sask. pronoun law – CTV News Saskatoon
GN notes: The only thing preventing the courts from imposing complete “wokeism” is the “notwithstanding clause”. If legislatures cannot legislate, and courts can override anything they want, elections become meaningless. This is a new form of dictatorship, where the people have the illusion of power through elections, but unelected courts are taking over the governments.

Mélanie Joly struggles to find Israel on a map – National Post
GN notes: “Mélanie Joly’s double-barreled comms misfire over the weekend proves, once again, that she is the wrong person to manage Canada’s relations with a volatile Middle East. Canada may not be a global heavyweight, but we at least deserve a foreign affairs minister who can point out Israeli territory on a map.”
